First and foremost, however, Earl is a committed Christian. By that he means one who believes that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God who came in the flesh. He further avows that Jesus Christ was crucified and rose from the dead on the third day, that salvation is in Him alone, and that God is One but three Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Since 1996 Earl has also publicly advocated without exception that the Church of the Bible is not comprised of denominations or non-denominations but is one body that functions and meets as "brethren," of whom multiple elders have the oversight. Furthermore, "every one" of the members including elders, deacons and ministers in plurality, has a responsibility to participate in the meetings without any individual or group leading, officiating or having "the preeminence among them". Earl's book, In the House of God, was widely distributed and is currently being revised. The completed edition will be freely available on this website.
